F.T. Island to conclude “Hello Hello” promotions to prepare for Japanese tour

F.T. Island will be wrapping up their third mini-album promotions to prepare for their Japanese tour.
On June 15th, a representative of FNC Music spoke through Star News and revealed, “F.T. Island will be concluding their Korean promotions through next week’s ’Inkigayo‘. Starting on the 29th, they’ll be going on a one-month-long summer tour in Japan. The boys will be leaving on the 28th, the day after vocalist Hongki completes his recording for ‘Immortal Song 2‘.”
He continued, “The members have been practicing for their Japanese tour on days that they didn’t have any music programs scheduled. Although it’s undecided for now, we are considering an Asian tour after they complete their Japanese tour.”
Starting on the 29th, F.T. Island will be holding their “2011 F.T. Island Natsu Tour Messenger” concert, which concludes on July 29th.

Introducing the lovely ladies of Super Junior!

On June 12th, Super Junior’s Leeteuk had fans howling with laughter over two hilarious photos he shared through his Twitter.
The star wrote, “Introducing Teuk-yonce, Hyuk-yonce, Lady Hee-Hee, and Biman-ce”.
In the photos, Eunhyuk, Heechul, Shindong, and Leeteuk can been seen sporting Lady GaGa’s famous ‘hair-bow’, tight leather dresses, and bright red lipstick. While Heechul channeled Lady GaGa for his look, it looks like Eunhyuk, Shindong, and Leeteuk were inspired by Beyoncé.

Fans left comments like, “I can’t believe they dressed up as women, even in Paris”, “Leeteuk looks just like his older sister”, and “They’re the prettiest girls I’ve ever seen“.

SECRET’s “Starlight Moonlight” tops the weekly charts

After ranking on the live music charts immediately after releasing their comeback track, “Starlight Moonlight“, the ladies of SECRET have gone on to conquer the weekly charts!
As of June 14th, “Starlight Moonlight” ranked first in not only the live and daily charts, but on the weekly charts as well. The sweet, refreshing song is proving to be a hit with everyone during this stifling summer heat. Since it was produced by Kang Ji Won and Kim Kibum, we didn’t expect anything less!
The girls have also revealed that they have something special in store for this week’s Mnet’s “M! Countdown“, so stay tuned to allkpop on June 16th!

Cristiano Ronaldo would relish long Real Madrid stay

Ronaldo joined Real Madrid for a world record £80m in July 2009

Cristiano Ronaldo would be happy to stay at Real Madrid for another 10 years.

He moved to the Bernabeu from Manchester United for £80m in 2009 and has now been linked to Manchester City.
However, the 26-year-old winger told the Cadena Cope radio station: "I can't see myself leaving Madrid.
"If [Madrid president] Florentino Perez told me to sign on for 10 years today, I would do it - although I don't know what will happen tomorrow."
The Portugal international scored 53 goals last season as Jose Mourinho's side won the Copa del Rey and finished second in La Liga.
Reports have suggested that City could be lining up a £150m bid for the former Sporting Lisbon man and are prepared to offer £21m a year in wages.
"If I was after just money I could have doubled what I have in my account," added Ronaldo. "I'm very happy here, it has been phenomenal."
But, despite distancing himself from a move to Eastlands, Ronaldo refused to rule out ever joining Real's biggest rivals Barcelona.
"Could I think differently tomorrow? Yes. No-one knows the future of a player," he said.
"Never play for Barcelona? Never is a strong word."

On May 18, the Wonder Girls attended the 160th year anniversary party for Kiehl, a cosmetic retail brand renowned for its high-end beauty care products. The invite-only philanthropy event took place near the company’s flagship store in Manhattan, New York, attracting Kiehl’s newest Global Ambassador Pharrell Williams, Susan Sarandon, Kevin Jonas, Leigh Lezark, Korean actor Lee Sun Gyun and more.
As part of its ‘Real Wonder Girls’ series on Youtube, JYP Entertainment released behind the scenes footage following the five ladies to the event, from the red carpet right into the party itself. Dolled up in floral dresses fit for the summer, the gorgeous quintet looks sharper than ever.
To wrap up the video, Yubin greeted, “It’s been a long time. We are having a great time here in New York and are living well! There are times like tehse when we dress up and attend events. We are also studying English very hard! I hope to meet our fans in Korea soon!”

UEE shares a story about Kim Hyun Joong on Night after Night

After School’s UEE shares her story of her first encounter with SS501′ Kim Hyun Joong causing firing jealousy in many fan girls.
On the June 13th airing of SBS’s Night After Night, UEE confessed, “I first saw him during a CF (Commercial Film) shoot, we held hands right as we met.” She also added, “My coordinator is a fan of Kim Hyun Joong and laughed when she saw this. She had eye contact with Hyun Joong while asking me if I was happy [to hold hands with him], she was really embarrassed.”
UEE then came to her coordinator’s defense and reassured Hyun Joong that her coordinator was not talking to him when she jealously made that comment.
It was clear that Hyun Joong was infatuated by UEE’s presence; the shy flower boy also confessed, “When I first saw UEE, I was secretly making a fuss about how pretty she was in the back.” When he was asked how it felt to hold her hand by MC Park Myung Soo, Hyun Joong confessed that it felt “good.”

Seo In Young to make drama cameo in MBC’s “Hooray for Love”

It has recently been announced that singer Seo In Young will be making a cameo on MBC’s upcoming drama, “Hooray for Love“, making this her second drama cameo since SBS’s “Style” three years earlier.
In “Hooray for Love” – written by Park Hyun Joo and produced by Joo Sung Woo – Seo In Young will play the girlfriend of the male lead, Dong Woo, who will be played by Lee Tae Sung.
Seo In Young will take on the role of a girlfriend seeking revenge on her boyfriend for not marrying her. Her character will only appear in the drama for three episodes.
Seo In Young has already started filming, and on June 8th, she was seen filming a scene on the beaches of Guam while practicing yoga and thinking of ways to get revenge on her boyfriend. Through this particular scene, Seo In Young reportedly earned respect from the producers.
In regards to the drama, she said, “At first, the set and my character were a bit awkward. However, after realizing I was filming in beautiful Guam with other good actors, I became happy because it felt like I was in a different world.”

Ok, so wasn’t really crazy about a Wonder Woman TV show (I’d prefer a big budget feature film), but after gawking at this babe and her screaming hot body for a couple of minutes, not only am I all for it, but it looks like Adrianne Palicki is going to be a perfect Wonder Woman. “Perfect” in the sense that it’s going to be a blast to gawk at her running around in a Wonder Woman costume. Wowzers, get a load of that bod! But having said that, why the hell can’t Warner Bros. just cast Jessica Biel and make a summer blockbuster like they should already have done? Block B & B1A4 to hold a battle of charms on MTV’s new reality show, “Match Up”

Korea’s hottest rookie groups, Block B and B1A4, will be holding a battle of charms on MTV’s newest reality show, “Match Up“!

Starting June 22nd, the program will hand a theme to both groups and follow the boys as they endeavor to show their unique individual colors and musical styles.

Block B, who were produced by Cho PD, are well-known for being talented in composing, writing, and producing. They’re characterized by their free spirit and honest personalities. Meanwhile, B1A4 is a group that first headlined for their pretty boy looks. Don’t let their faces fool you, though, for their writing, composing, and performing skills are as strong as Block B’s.

The program will run for a total of eight episodes, and fans will get to see the set of their new music videos as well as music program schedules. Aside from documenting their working lives, the show will follow their day-to-day lifestyle as they complete a variety of different missions.

Fans are familiar with the importance of CF deals, as they bring in larger profits than most other sources of income for celebrities.

To see who the top CF stars in Korea are, Daily Sports compiled a list of the top seven, as rated by the number of products they’ve endorsed from June 2010 to May 2011. Check out the list below!

1. Lee Seung Gi: First place goes to none other than Lee Seung Gi, who’s endorsed a total of 12 products this year. From cosmetics, fridges, and even banking, he’s got all of the best products under his belt. Thanks to his image transformation from the ‘nation’s little brother’ to a strong, independent man, he’s captured the hearts of industry representatives as an almighty entertainer and ‘CF King.’

2. Big Bang: From cell phones to cameras, beers, automobiles, and even ice cream, Big Bang is endorsing a total of 10 products thanks to their wide fanbase. The styles of each of the five members are also unique, so they’re able to portray a wider variety of images.

2PM’s Junho wants to shower with his girlfriend?

2PM’s Junho made an explosive comment that had fangirls reeling with shock.

On June 13th, the reporters of “Good Day – Entertainment Plus” interviewed 2PM at the set of their latest beverage CF.

The segment began with Nichkhun sharing his secrets on how he sculpted his body. He shyly revealed, “I just ardently go to the gym to work out.“ Taecyeon then revealed, “Nichkhun is the type who doesn’t gain weight regardless of how much he eats. He’s been working out while eating a lot of food.”

The 2PM members were then asked what kind of CF they would like to film. Nichkhun confessed that he wants to do a Banana Milk CF, but Taecyeon smoothly interjected with, “I want to film commercials for the beverage brand we are filming for now for 100 years.”

Lastly, the members were asked what they wanted to do if they had a girlfriend. Junsu considered their current beverage CF saying, “I want to go to Switzerland to drink the drink that we are making a CF for,” which brought about much laughter.

Junho, on the other hand, said, “If I get a girlfriend, I want to shower with her,” causing his groupmembers to gasp in shock.

At least the boy knows what he wants, right?

IU rises above her haters, performs well on SBS’s “Kiss & Cry”

On June 12th, IU delivered an impressive performance on SBS’s “Kiss & Cry“, effectively rising above the heavy-handed criticisms from last week.

As revealed earlier, her performance with partner Choi In Hwa was done under a cheerleader concept to the tune of “Girlfriend” by Avril Lavigne. Because she placed last in the first competition, IU showedsigns of nervousness amidst flashes of fierce determination to do better this round.

When she got on the ice, IU managed to pull off moves like ‘through the leg’, ’spiral’, ‘rotational rifts’, and other complex stunts. Kim Yuna stated, “You’ve improved greatly compared to a week ago. Thank you for working hard.”

Looking as if she was about to cry at the praise, IU replied, “I feel great right now.”

Judge Kim Jang Hoon added, “It seems you’ve managed to overcome your obstacles.  I would like to applaud you for that.”

IU received a total score of 32.6 in the end, which led her to burst out, “I received a lot of praise, so I definitely feel more confident. There were a lot of people who didn’t view me in a positive light, so I was honestly very upset. A lot of people said that I didn’t work hard, but I think I did work hard… I think it’s because I’m not that good. In our next competition, I promise to show even more improvement.”

f(x) releases “Hot Summer” MV teaser

Girl group f(x) have recently excited fans with the release of their new teaser video!

f(x) revealed the teaser video for their follow-up track “Hot Summer” through both their officialhomepage and SM Entertainment’s YouTube channel on June 13th.

“Hot Summer” is a dance pop track with an intense synthesized sound and beat, telling the story of girls who find romance in the days of summer. Fans have meanwhile pointed out that the song is likely to be a Korean remake of the original song of the same name by German pop girl group, Monrose.

f(x) will drop their repackaged album through both online and offline stores on June 14th. It will include the original 10 tracks from their first album, as well as four new songs: “Hot Summer”, “Can I Like You” from the “Paradise Ranch” OST, “La Cha Ta“, and “Chu~♡“.

Meanwhile, they will perform their new song starting with KBS’s “Music Bank” on the 17th.

Kim Hyun Joong’s ideal woman is still Lee Hyori!

Singer Kim Hyun Joong had a charming interview about his ideal woman and girl groups.

The June 12th episode of MBC’s “Section TV” saw the reporter pay a visit to Kim Hyun Joong’s showcase. During the interview, the reporter asked asked Kim Hyun Joong about how he felt after admitting he had plastic surgery on air recently. The star replied, “I do not remember anything about it. It felt as though I took my brain out and put it back in again.”

Kim Hyun Joong also again stated that Lee Hyori is still his ideal woman. When asked, “Do you have any girl groups that you like?”, Kim Hyun Joong paused and wittily answered, “What’s the point of liking them? I would have to meet them,” causing everyone in the room to laugh.

Jay Park’s “Mr. Idol” to hit theaters this August

Producers of the upcoming idol-themed movie, “Mr. Idol“, have revealed that they’ve just completed three months of filming, and that the movie will hit theaters in August!

“Mr. Idol” boasts an all-star line-up with Jay Park, Kim Soo Ro, Park Ye Jin, and U-KISS. It’s described to be a comedy film about two producers coming together with a group of troublemakers, who they transform to create a ‘national idol group’.

Filming began back on February 28th, and was completed on June 9th.

Park Ye Jin commented, “I’m a bit upset and disappointed that filming has ended so soon. We’ve all gotten so close to each other, and I think this is the first time in 10 years that I’ve felt this way about a cast.”

Ji Hyun Woo added, “The last day of filming is always a happy but sad day. It would’ve been nice if we all ended together…”

Jay Park, who finished filming separately at Sunyudo Park, stated, “It’s upsetting, but I feel great. I’ve earned new hyungs, and I’m thankful that the staff and directors treated me so well.”
