It’s being reported that singer Alex, who recently suffered from a herniated disc, was admitted into a hospital. According to Seoul’s Kangnam Choice Hospital, Alex dropped by the hospital on the morning of June 11th to receive a special endoscope surgery for his injury. He was diagnosed with 4th and 5th cervical disc herniation. A staff member of the hospital stated, “Alex received special endoscopic procedures to push in his protruding discs, which took approximately 10 minutes.” They continued, “He stayed in the recovery room for an hour and was able to go home after his condition stabilized.” Alex was diagnosed with a herniated disc three years ago, but because he was too nervous to receive surgery, he decided to treat himself with simple exercise and stretches. However, his condition got significantly worse in the past three weeks, and so he had no choice but to receive the surgery. A representative of Alex’s company stated, “The surgery was a simple procedure that will not affect his future activities. Starting next week, he will receive 2~3 months of treatment while actively promoting his album at the same time.” Source + Image: Star News via Nate
