Hadouir has made more than 200 appearance in the Eredivisie Middlesbrough are hopeful of signing Roda midfielder Anouar Hadouir if they can free up funds from their wage bill, BBC Tees understands.
The 28-year-old Dutchman, who is out of contract at the end of June and would be available on a free transfer, has been in talks with boss Tony Mowbray.He began his career with Willem II before a move to Roda in 2007 and has scored 36 goals in 211 appearances.
Willo Flood's move to Dundee United remains Boro's only departure thus far.
